How To Lighten The Labia (in a natural way)

I love taking care of my skin and keeping it looking as bright and fresh as possible. Brightening soap was a great way to stop any intimate parts of my body from darkening. I used to always use brightening soaps. But I always felt like it wasn't ideal to put so much soap near my private areas, so I figured out a natural way to lighten these parts of my body, especially a sensitive part like the labia majora.

I decided I wanted to make my own natural mask that I can leave on for a while so that my skin brightens overtime. I use highly accessible ingredients to make this mask and you can find them all in the supermarket.

Ingredients:

- Rice powder

- Full milk

- Organic white yogurt

- Fresh lemon juice

- Turmeric powder

Turmeric is a strong natural antibiotic full of antioxidants with many beauty benefits. It stimulates blood flow, which is great for your labia's appearance. See, it leaves skin plump, thick and with better circulation. Its bright yellow colour also counteracts with the grey, blue, green and red shades in your labia. I do not recommend using fresh turmeric as it's hard to deal with and smells quite strong. It will turn your fingers too yellow for too long and with far less concentration than powdered turmeric. I use ground turmeric and it works fine.

Directions

Take a mixing bowl such as this beautiful bamboo one by Healifty. Mix 1 tsp of yoghurt with 1 tsp of milk, a squirt of lemon juice, 1 tsp of rice flower and 1 tsp of ground turmeric. Don't add too much rice flower or the mask will be too thick, making it hard to spread out over your skin. You should have a creamy mixture, almost like a face mask.

You don't have to, but I recommend shaving your labia before applying the lightening mixture. It's more hygienic and allows you to see and feel the result better.

Now, apply this mixture to your labia Leave it on for 20 minutes. If possible, sit by your bath tub on an old towel or rag to avoid any yellow stains and cleaning work. Keep this mask as a last step of your bathing routine to avoid having to refill your bath tub. If you have any leftover, apply anywhere you want your skin to become more fair: face, neck, lower stomach, knees, legs, hands...

When you're finished, take place in your shower or bath tub and rinse with warm water. Use a soap with neutral pH designed for the vagina, because turmeric smells spicey, not very lady like. Feel how fresh and plump your labia are now! They are supposed to look a bit more pink after first use. I tried it for the first time for the last two days in a row and I must say I noticed results. And the result doesn't go away.

Use this mask weekly or as desired for a lasting whitening effect.
